Montana: Fly fishing is known as the creme de la creme of the fishing world and once you master this technique you’ve got them all down pat. Montana is gorgeous in its own right but there’s trout river fishing like you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
Alabama: If you’ve got your eye on deep sea endeavors, Alabama is a great and inexpensive starting point. The Gulf has some amazing seafood and you can charter your own private boat and guide which will get you off to a great start.
North Carolina: If lake fishing is where you see yourself head to one of NC’s many lakes and speak to a local. Start at a fishing shop and see who will take you out for the day. 50 and a 6-pack will usually do the trick.
